What are Constellations?
Constellations are groupings of stars that, seen from Earth, appear to form figures in the night sky. Since ancient times, different cultures have identified patterns in the stars and assigned them names and mythologies.
Currently, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) officially recognizes 88 constellations that cover the entire celestial sphere. Among them, the 12 zodiacal constellations are especially well-known because the Sun, Moon, and planets transit through them throughout the year.
In addition to astronomical constellations, there is another type of "constellations" that has gained popularity in the therapeutic field: Family Constellations, a method developed by Bert Hellinger that reveals hidden dynamics in family systems.
